Xionggu does dual torch automatic welding robot is designed to be dedicated automatic welding equipment for cross country pipeline welding. Welding is done by φ1.0mm solid wire, shielding gas is 80% CO2+20% Ar. Welding parameters such as wire feeding speed, welding speed, oscillation frequency etc. can be preset. The welders can only adjust parameters to the extent that is authorized. This design make sure consistency of welding quality of each pipe jpints.

Xionggu automatic pipeline welding machine is designed to be suitable for narrow gap bevel welding which has following advantages:

The welding machine is also suitable for welding of other bevel designs such as V shaped bevel.

Weldability test should be carried out before application of the automatic welding robot for double torch pipeline in Xionggu field. Weldability test should be carried out when the material, specification, groove type, wire number, wire specification and protective gas type of steel pipe change.
