The mainline welding of the first lot of the middle section of 3rdWest to East (Zaoyang-Xiantao section) has been completed by Xinjiang Oil Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. since March 28th, 2022. 

The mainline welding of the 4th lot of this project contracted by Jianghan Oil Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. was completed on April 14th, 2022, 77 days ahead of the contract period. Congratulations to them! Both of them uses Xionggu pipeline automatic welding machines in this project.

The middle section of the 3rd West to East gas pipeline project is the national key energy infrastructure construction, and is another important channel for the transmission of natural gas resources from Central Asia to the west, the middle and eastern regions of China. The Zaoyang-Xiantao section is about 253.8 kilometers long, with a design gas transmission capacity of 25billion cubic meters/year. After the completion of the project, it will form a systematic connection with the 2ndWest to East gas pipeline, the new Guangdong-Zhejiang pipeline, the Sichuan to East gas pipeline, and the Zhong Wu gas pipeline. actively strengthens the allocation of personnel and equipment resources, established 6 full-automatic welding machine teams to participate in the construction, and uses Xionggu pipeline automatic welding machine (pipeline automatic external welding machine A-610, A-305 and pipeline automatic internal welding machine A-800). With the use of digital and intelligent technology, it creates an intelligent construction site, and promoted on-site standardized construction and mechanized operation. The whole process of pipeline construction achieves safety and quality control, The first qualified rate of welded joint has reached 97.5%, and the intelligent pipeline construction capacity and automatic welding application technology have been affirmed by the pipeline owner.
