TOTAL ranks the fourth largest petrochemical companies in the world, headquartered in Paris, France, with lubricant operations in more than 110 countries. TOTAL is a large multinational energy company, whose business covers the entire oil and gas industry chain, from the exploration and production of oil and gas to the downstream of natural gas (including power generation), transportation, refining, oil sales, international trade of crude oil and refined oil.

Mr. Gu and his team from TOTAL exploration and production services (China) company visited Xionggu Electrical on March 30th, 2021. Mr. Xiong Jian, chairman of Xionggu Electrical, Mr. Mou Kun, vice general manager and Mr. Xiong Xiang, vice general manager of Xionggu were present in the meeting and made introduction of the company in detail.

As the owner of EACOP crude oil pipeline, TOTAL dispatched this team to Xionggu’s facilities located in Chengdu city to witness welding qualification test of Xionggu pipeline automatic welding machine. Welding was carried out in simulation of conditions of construction site according to WPS which was proposed in compliance with the requirements of TOTAL. The welding of control joint was completed, and RT test was done, result was qualified, meeting the requirements of the owner.
