The 5^th lot of of Binhai Xuyi project of Binhai LNG pipeline (hereinafter referred to as the 5thlot) consists of two lines: “Huai'an Industrial Park section and Tongyu JIUPU section". The pipeline starts from the boundary between Zhun'an district and Huai'an Industrial Park. It passes through Huai'an Industrial Park, Hongze district and Xuyi county of Jiangsu Province, including 1 Province, 1 city and 3 districts and counties. The length of the pipeline is 98913.89m. There are 2 stations and 5 monitoring valve stations along the pipeline, 6 large and medium-sized river crossings, 10 small river crossings and 9 national and provincial highway crossings along the pipeline. The design gas transmission capacity is 4940x104m3/D, the design pressure is 10MPa, the design pipe diameter is 914mm and the material is L485M.

The Xionggu pipeline automatic welding machine on 5thlot is mainly the pipeline external welding machine A-610 and the pipeline internal welding machine A-806. After the Xionggu technical service engineer arrives at the site, he first carries out preliminary training for the welders and explains the matters needing attention in full-automatic welding for the welders. Then, carry out commissioning, trial welding and parameter adjustment for all Xionggu pipeline automatic welding machines, and cooperate with the customer to complete data acquisition and commissioning of the welding data platform, so as to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The first 100 joints were welded. The one time qualified rate is 98% by AUT, RT.

This is the first time for the automatic welding machine to be adopted in dia. 914mm pipeline project in China. Xionggu and adopts the automatic welding process and Xionggu company is the first to start automatic welding operation and completed the first 100 joints in the project.
