China Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “PipeChina”) was established in 2019. It is responsible for the investment and construction of national oil and gas trunk pipelines and some gas storage facilities, and for the interconnection of trunk pipelines and local pipelines to form a “National Network”. Xionggu pipeline automatic welding machine participated in some key projects in PipeChina.

1.   Sino-Russia Gas Pipeline Phase 3

Sino-Russia gas pipeline phase 3 starts from Yongqing connecting compressor station in Hebei, passes through Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu and Shanghai, and ends at Baihe terminal station of the west east gas transmission line. The total length of the pipeline is 1509 km. After being put into operation, the daily gas transmission volume can exceed 50 million cubic meters, which will break the bottleneck of natural gas transmission capacity in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Yangtze River Delta and further improve the emergency supply capacity of oil and gas pipeline network.

2. The Guangxi branch line project

The Guangxi branch line project started on July 26, 2021. More than 25 kilometers of welded pipelines have been built by August 2021. The project consists of Chenzhou-Shaoguan section of gas pipeline and Shaoguan connecting pipeline which were planned to be put into operation in January 2022. This project is a major energy construction project in the 12th Five Year Plan for national natural gas industry development, with a total length of 839.5 km and a maximum gas transmission capacity of 16.8 billion m3 / year after pressurization; Shaoguan connecting pipeline has a total length of 70 km and a design gas transmission capacity of 7 billion m3 / year. The completion of these projects will play a positive role in ensuring the safe and stable supply of natural gas in adjacent regions along the pipeline.

3.MengXi gas pipeline

The phase I project of Mengxi pipeline project is the first natural gas trunk pipeline directly supplied to Xiong'An New District in China. After completion, it will help the construction of Xiong'An New District. At the same time, it is of great significance to meet the clean energy consumption in the north part of China. The first phase of Mengxi pipeline project has completed 118 km of pipeline welding, and the overall progress of the project has exceeded 40%, laying a solid foundation for the production conditions in June 2022.
