On June 25th to 26th, 2025, the 2nd China Hydropower Development Conference and Exhibition of Hydropower and New Energy Technology Equipment opened grandly in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. Among them, the intelligent welding robot XQ-396 exhibited by Guangzhou Qianan Zhongzhi Construction Management Co., Ltd. became the focus of the whole event with its breakthrough technology. It integrated the core strengths of the three parties in equipment manufacturing, energy system integration, and engineering digital management fields.

At the exhibition site, the XQ-396 intelligent welding robot has become the focus of the exhibition. It is specially designed for complex working conditions in hydropower projects, successfully overcoming the long-standing "difficulty in construction, high labor intensity, and low production efficiency" in the welding field of hydropower projects.

It efficiently adapts to the welding needs of pressure steel pipes in water diversion tunnels and tailrace tunnels. Compared to traditional manual welding with welding rods, its operating efficiency increases by 200%-300%, and compared to conventional rail-type automatic welding equipment, the comprehensive efficiency increases by 20%. The display of the XQ-396 intelligent welding robot at this exhibition not only marks a key step towards the intelligence and digitization of China's hydropower equipment manufacturing, but also showcases the innovative vitality of deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application.
